Matt Burnett, Mayor of the Gladstone Region, gives us an insight into his youth with colourful stories and energetic musical choices. Born and bred in Gladstone, Matt’s connection to the region extend to an amazing five generations. His love of this region is tangible and we get to know a little more about what motivates him, as well as how he felt when Kurt Cobain died, and what song was playing when he rolled his Mini on the way to Boynedale.

Our third guest is Molly Strickland, a Gladstone local known for her artistic talent. She was recognised in the Rio Tinto Martin Hanson Memorial Art Awards in 2019 for her work ‘Clockwork Conker’. Molly shares with us stories about her work as a tattoo artist and about Curtis Island, which she visits regularly for work/life balance. We hope you enjoy her music and easy going attitude!
